Amaranth Foundation CEO, Julianne Whyte and the Nursing, Health and Wellbeing Team are working with the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) in the implementation of the HOPE – Health Outcomes Patient Experiences and the Leading Better Value Care program.
Amaranth received approval from the ACI in December 2021 to use the Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) within the NDIS and Aged Care Programs. The PRM data will be used to help inform care delivery at the individual and also at the service level. Learnings from this implementation will help inform other NGO implementation and future uptake of HOPE in both the NDIS and Primary Care settings.
Many people with a chronic wound are debilitated, immobile and in pain and they feel isolated and self-conscious. These factors impact their employment, relationships and daily life as well as having a significant impact on the quality of life of the patient’s carers and families.
