We are pleased to be offering Short-Term Accommodation under the NDIS at our beautiful Inala Lodge premises. Inala Lodge is in the beautiful regional town of Corowa, NSW, on the banks for the mighty Murray River.

Our short-term accommodation (previously known as Respite) offers short-term breaks for families or carers of children and adults with a disability to help support and maintain their care giving relationships.

A short stay away from home can:

  • give you the chance to try new things
  • a new place to make friends or develop new skills
  • help to maintain your current living situation by giving your informal supports a break.

Inala Lodge – Inala means ‘a relaxing place’ and it offers the opportunity for people with disabilities and their families to engage in services in our community.

It provides a positive experience including the opportunity to mix with other people giving the regular carer a break.

Families have the constant responsibility of providing care to their family member with a disability. Parents and carers often have little time for themselves to maintain their own interests, health and relationships. Planned respite gives families that all-important break.

Our Inala Lodge Corowa is available to anyone with an intellectual disability with the minimum age of eight years.

These services are funded under the following NDIS categories:

  • Assistance with daily life
