Food Bowl – Corowa

Located in the TAFE grounds, our Corowa Regional Food Bowl provides food to over 300+ locals which consists of approximately 2 tonne of food per week.

The Food Bowl Program is a fully-funded partnership with Albury Wodonga Food Share, Corowa Woolworths, Rutherglen IGA and Waldron’s IGA Corowa and is open to provide free, fresh, nutritious and environmentally friendly food and personal items for people in our community who are experiencing food insecurity.

The Food Bowl is operated by us, with the help of an amazing group of Amaranth participants and volunteers. Our Amaranth participants get the opportunity to learn life and work skills as well as interact with the community, which is a very rewarding experience.

To use the Food Bowl, a registration form can be filled out at the food bowl, and all who attend are required to sign-in and follow normal food handling and hygiene policies.
