Rebecca
RebeccaNDIS Support Coordinator
My name is Rebecca and I have worked at Amaranth Foundation for just over a year now. I have lived the experience of disability which supports me to support you when navigating the NDIS space.
I began my employment as a Support Worker and have now transitioned to the position of NDIS Support Coordinator, having recently completed my Bachelor of Community Health. My studies have enabled me to gain a strong foundation of knowledge in areas of disability including supporting dignity through enablement, diversity and discrimination, psychology, mental health and disability case management.
I really enjoy supporting clients to build capacity and achieve greater independence through supporting and connecting clients with community activities, volunteering roles and social participation. I believe my person-centered approach encourages a relationship where I can build trust and foster open communication with you.
Julianne
JulianneSpecialist Support Co-ordinator
In my role as the Specialist support co-ordinator at Corowa, I love the opportunity this gives Amaranth to be able to work with some of the most complex and vulnerable people in our community. Social workers core skills are working with complexity and reducing a persons perception of disability in their environment. Supporting my support co-ordinators in this role allows my advanced mental health social work skills to be used to the most benefit for clients.
