Food Bowl – Corowa

Located at the old Corowa Railway Station in John street, our Corowa food bowl provides food to over 200 local families which consists of approximately 2 tonne of food per week.

The Food Bowl Program is a partnership with Wodonga Food Share, Rivalea Australia and Corowa Woolworths to provide free, fresh, nutritious and environmentally friendly food and personal items for people in our community who are experiencing hardship or social isolation

The food bowl is open Tuesday to Friday 10am-2pm, thanks to an amazing group of volunteers who are their to help those who attend.

To use the Food Bowl, a registration form can be filled out at the station and due to Covid-19, all who attend are required to sign-in and follow normal Covid-19 hygiene policies.

Friday Night @ the Station

Initiated during the 2020 COVID19 lockdown, FN@TS provides an informal atmosphere for local men and boys to meet every Friday night from 5.30pm.

Located on the platform of the Federation style Corowa Railway Station in John street, the environment is always fun, unstructured and supportive. Gathered around a warming firepit, men enjoy a BBQ, a chat and even a couple of beers.

It is a great place for people new to town to meet other men, or its just as good for long term residents to catch up for a chat outside a work environment. Weekend excursions, trips to football games and other outings are often arranged for those that are interested.

Motorcycles for Mindfulness

M4M meets on the first Sunday of every month at the Corowa Railway Station.

From our clubhouse, rides are organised locally which cater for all levels of riding abilities and experience. There is always a welcome lunch stop. Often we are invited to join other groups in bigger rides such as The Black Dog Ride.

The atmosphere is always informal and inclusive. On bad weather days, the group still meets on the platform for a BBQ, firepit and to talk all things bikes. The Facebook site is often used by members to organise other rides as well.
